Premier’s criminal history check searches public records available from any of the 3300+ county courthouses in the United States along with 42 statewide repositories and Washington D.C. (for statewide searches) providing both felony and/or misdemeanor access. The search is conducted in the individual county courts where the applicant resides and/or works, or as requested by the client. Premier Employment Screening Services suggests conducting a seven-year criminal history search of current and previous addresses of residence, work locations and/or places of education. Criminal history information is linked to a person’s name and therefore, it is also important to search criminal history for any other name(s) the applicant may have used in the past seven years. A national scan is ideal when trying to identifying criminal activity in jurisdictions outside of current and previous residence and employment geographical locations. Premier Employment Screening Services searches over 140 million records in 42 states plus Washington D.C. A national criminal offender scan contains information related to multiple criminal record sources, including information from the Department of Corrections’ incarceration, parole, and release files, Administrative Office of Court records, and state and county criminal records. A query is conducted with the Department of Health & Human Services which provides information on individuals who have been convicted of Medicaid or Medicare fraud. The nationwide search displays those individuals and entities currently and/or previously excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid and all other federal health care programs. Workers' Compensation Claims History |

Provides a history of the applicants’ work related injuries filed by the employer. Searches assist employers in placing new hires in positions suited to their physical abilities. This report is also used as a good tool for researching prior workers’ comp claims as a result of an on-the-job injury. Reports usually include claim information, injury type, date, and case number. This claims report obtained by Premier Employment Screening Services adheres to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Civil Court Record Check |

Civil Court Records reveal whether a person or company is involved in non-criminal lawsuits including litigation for tort, contract, or real estate disputes. Other cases typical of civil court records include small claims and tenant eviction. County Civil records are usually split between the upper and lower courts based on the monetary amount of the claim (figure varies based on the jurisdiction).
